Emergency Transportation Services
Medicaid reimburses for medically necessary emergency ground or air ambulance transportation.
This service is one of the minimum covered services for all Managed Medical Assistance, Long-Term Care, and Comprehensive Long-Term Care plans serving Medicaid enrollees.
Eligibility
All Medicaid eligible recipients may receive emergency transportation services, when the recipient’s condition meets emergency criteria.
