Florida Medicaid’s Covered Services and HCBS Waivers
Developmental Disabilities Individual Budgeting Waiver
The purpose of the iBudget Waiver Program is to maintain and promote the health and functioning of individuals diagnosed with a developmental disability and to prevent, hospitalization or institutionalization. The goal of the program is to enable recipients to choose and receive services in their home or in the community.
Medicaid reimburses for the following waiver services:

- Behavior Analysis Services
- Behavior Assistant Services
- Dietitian Services
- Environmental Accessibility Adaptations
- Life Skills Development
- Occupational Therapy
- Personal Emergency Response Systems
- Personal Supports
- Physical Therapy
- Private Duty Nursing
- Residential Habilitation
- Residential Nursing Services
- Respiratory Therapy
- Respite Care
- Skilled Nursing
- Specialized Medical Equipment and Supplies
- Specialized Medical Home Care
- Specialized Mental Health Counseling
- Speech Therapy
- Support Coordination
- Supported Living Coaching
- Transportation
- Level 1 (Companion)
- Level 2 (Supported Employment)
- Level 3 (Adult Day Training)
- Consumable Medical Supplies
- Durable Medical Equipment and Supplies
The iBudget waiver is a fee-for-service program and is not offered by health plans serving Medicaid enrollees.
Eligibility
Medicaid recipients who meet the following criteria are eligible to enroll in the iBudget waiver:
- DD program client enrolled in the waiver
- Three years of age or older
- The level of care criteria for intermediate care facilities for the developmentally disabled
