IDD Pilot Program

New Medicaid Pilot Program serving more people with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD)

In 2023, the Legislature authorized the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) to launch a new opportunity in Region 6 (D) and Region 11 (I) for people with IDD, who are on the Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD) pre-enrollment list, to receive services through an integrated managed care delivery model.

This program was launched as the Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) Pilot Program, commonly known as the Developmental Disabilities Managed Care Pilot Program.

The Agency has contracted with Florida Community Care (FCC) health plan for both Regions 6 (D) and 11 (I).

Program began October 1, 2024.  If you believe you are eligible, watch your mail in the coming weeks for information on how to indicate interest in the pilot.
